SCP Foundation is a fictional secret scientific military organization that deals with various supernatural and dangerous entities, phenomena, objects, locations and many other factors (all of these are known as anomalies in their language) that are unexplained by science and are a threat to mankind. S.C.P Foundation also hides these anomalies from the rest of human society.
The full form of the S.C.P Foundation is Secure, Contain, Protect. The duty of this foundation is just like its full form.
Secure means to observe and find certain anomalies worldwide.
Contain means to stop the spreading of certain anomalies, in their language "relocating, concealing and dismantling the anomalies" which means to remove memories of humans who either witnessed the anomalies or felt the effect of that anomaly, using a secret technology in order to stop the spreading.
Protect means to protect the world and making from these anomalies

An anomaly under this classification doesn't mean that it's fully safe. Safe class anomalies are under this classification as they are relatively safe compared to other anomalies and there is a high chance of escaping from these anomalies.
Euclid
In this classification, some of the most dangerous anomalies are included, anomalies classified as Euclid is a bit harder to contain. Not only entities and creatures but also some items that are believed to be cursed and possessed by the paranormal also comes in the Euclid classifications.
Keter
The third classification of the SCP Foundation contains the most dangerous entities. It's also very difficult to contain such anomalies.

SCP 2662 are two entities included in the Keter division. They are undoubtedly two of the most dangerous anomalies.
Divisions of the Functioning of the S.C.P Foundation
The S.C.P Foundation is divided into 5 divisions which are from class A to E.
Class A is the ruling committee of this foundation. The members of class A administer the foundation and they never directly interact with the anomalies.
Class B is the executive branch of the S.C.P Foundation. The members of this class are in charge of the physical operations. The members of Class B doesn't directly interact with the anomalies unless emergency.
Members of Class C and D directly interacts with the anomalies in which Class D interacts with anomalies the most. The members of Class D are often recruited from prisons where prisoners are selected as the members of Class D.
Class E contains the people who got infected during their direct interaction with anomalies and the members of Class E will be in a lifetime quarantine.
Even though many people from class A to E are working in S.C.P Foundation, their information is never publicly disclosed.

Origin of S.C.P Foundation
Back in early 2008, a 4chan user posted the image of SCP 173 (mentioned earlier) with a description stating its supernatural ability.
Actually, it was a fake post and the photo was of an ordinary concrete statue made by an artist.
But when that post contained a very detailed scientific description, many people believed it and many other people inspired by this post started created their own characters with stories and descriptions and posted online and later all these anomalies were called SCP anomalies and the website named SCP wiki was created by adding all this SCP.
SCP wiki is a site like Wikipedia where anybody can create their own characters and classify them as an SCP entity.
But even today some people still believe in the existence of the S.C.P Foundation and points out the site SCP wiki as evidence.
